Vision and Mission

Vision	:	To be a department that stands out with its quality education and training activities, nationally and internationally recognized research studies, has a student-oriented teaching approach, takes an active role in national and international organizations and activities related to landscape architecture, develops interdisciplinary academic partnerships for education and research, and is preferred at home and abroad.
Mission	:	To train landscape architects who are equipped in the planning, design, management and conservation of natural and cultural landscapes, who have the knowledge to interpret the physical, socio-cultural and economic structure, who are sensitive to the environment, respectful to social and ethical values; to evaluate the potentials of landscapes at local, regional, national and international scales and to contribute to the solution of problems through researches using science and technology.
