As part of the Professional Development Workshops, the Ulus Technical Trip to Küre Mountains National Park has been completed.
As part of the Professional Development Workshops, the Ulus Technical Trip to the Küre Mountains National Park, prepared by our student Mustafa Ceyhun Keskin, has been completed. First, information about the Taxidermy Museum and the national park was received from the National Park technical staff at the Ağaköy Visitor Center. Then, the entrance to the Drahna Valley, Bayraklıtepe, and the Ahmet Yılmaz Cultural Center in Köklü Village were visited. A 3 km hike was undertaken in the Alıçlı-Ulukaya canyon. Finally, at the national park and Nature Cafe completed by the Ulus Municipality on the banks of the Ulus River, businessman Deniz Güneşen spoke about their efforts to develop tourism in the region. We thank Mr. Güneşen and Mr. Hasan Çetinkaya, the President of Drahnader, for the refreshments. We thank our student Mustafa Ceyhun Keskin and the course instructor Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mustafa Artar.
