Our faculty member, Dr. Pelin KEÇECİOĞLU DAĞLI, has been accepted as a Working Member in the international research project titled “Climate Change Impacts on Mental Health in Europe (CliMent)” (code CA23113), supported by the European Union's COST (European Cooperation in Science and Technology) program.
The project, which includes researchers from various European countries, aims to understand the impacts of climate change on mental health, identify at-risk communities, and develop long-term solution strategies.
Dr. Pelin KEÇECİOĞLU DAĞLI will serve in one of the four working groups of the project, WG4 – “Long-term strategies of community of practice: enabling sustainability”. In this capacity, she will contribute to studies on ecological planning, green infrastructure, sustainable environmental design, and nature-based solutions offered by the discipline of landscape architecture. This contribution will provide an important scientific foundation for developing environmental strategies to mitigate the psychosocial impacts of climate change on society.
