Our department's faculty member, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mustafa Artar, attended the Landscape Architecture Education and Science Association (PEMDER) Board of Directors meeting held in İzmir on January 29-30, 2026, as a board member. Following the board meeting, a delegation consisting of board members Prof. Dr. Veli Ortaçeşme, Prof. Dr. Adnan Uzun, Prof. Dr. Erhan Vecdi Küçükerbaş, and Prof. Dr. Meryem Atik visited the Landscape Architecture Departments of Ege University and then İzmir Democracy University to discuss accreditation processes and continuous improvement. During the visits, discussions were held on accreditation application and development issues, and information was shared on developing inter-university partnerships.
